I don't think they care about either. Hezbollah is part of a martyr culture, so it doesn't matter if it is their own. They don't care if it is Jewish children in Israel either, but for different reasons.
The more dead children the better.
Kill israeli children and it will be mostly ignored/justified by the west, while convincing some israelis to push for peace with the terrorists (there are fools in every country). Kill your own kids and it's easy to stage it to look like the israelis did it and they are condemned by the world.
Great set up for them.
But perhaps this should influence who we ought to side with if we ever get involved.
Israel will take greater steps to protect the children of lebanon than the people supposedely protecting lebanon from Israel.
What does that tell you?
You could, of course ask: Is Israel worried about all children dying in war, or just theirs?
And the answer would be the same.
And Israel has killed many more innocent children in the recent conflict than Hezbollah.
BTW, it's okay, Fiddle, you don't have to point out that the standard rules of morality don't apply to Israel, "because Israel has the right to defend itself."
The Israelis abhore the deaths of all and any innocent children. In contrast to this, the deaths of any innocent Israelis caused by Hezbollah indiscriminate rockets and bombs is seen as a great victory by the Hebollah, and is cause for celebration. I have seen this with my own eyes.
Really Jinn. Do you happen to know any Palestinians? I mean real ones that were born there and had their families murdered by the Israeli military for no reason at all? I mean if you did, maybe you would not be such a know-it-all. They may abhor it, as you claim, but that doesn't stop them. And on this issue, I CAN speak from a personal perspective. Can you, or are you like so many other loud mouth Westeners that get their news from the comfort of thier livingrooms?? Talk to me when you have real facts to talk about.
