These young boys, dressed as Hezbollah guerillas are parading down the street in Beruit, Lebanon on Jerusalam Day.--->

Every year, Iran and its supporters celebrate Jerusalem Day on the last day of the holy month of Ramadan. Beginning in 2003 officials of the Teheran regime and the Hezbollah in Lebanon hold popular ceremonies on that day (November 21) whose main themes are the annihilation of Israel, increasing the aid for the violent Palestinian armed insurrection , total rejection of any political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and provoking hatred for the United States. Moreover, this year for the first time, similar ceremonies were held in Baghdad and other areas in Iraq with large Iranian-oriented Shiite Muslim populations.

Voted : Yes, they always wanted them out.
This is a complex situation. Lebanon is just fractured politically, and Hezbollah, through its Iranian and Syrian backers, has emerged the strongest militarily. So, I'd imagine that, although they cannot say so publically, most of Lebanon's political factions are pleased at the weakening of Hezbollah, at least in the current time frame.
Did they always want them out? I think the only friends of Hezbollah were other members.

Lebanon had a Government?

I thought HEZBOLLAH was the de facto "Government"
-just as HAMAS was
(and now is, by democratic process)
the de facto Government for the Palestinians.

The whole thing is approaching farcical!
