A yo-yo. It goes up. It goes down. It goes in all sorts of neat tricks, if you've studied for years the exact methods of doing said tricks. Even after all that, you know what the ladies will call you?

Nothing at all, because they won't even be speaking to you.

I remember being a kid and being encouraged to still play with my Etch-A-Sketch when one of the wheels didn't work. I could draw vertical lines.... or to be precise - I could draw A vertical line, erase it and then redraw THE SAME vertical line.
