Voted : Yes, those actions are somewhat suspicious
A thousand cell phones at 15 dollars each (at least). You dont spend that kind of money unless it's for something really important... My guess is that they were going to stage an pro-enviroment/anti-plastic packaging rally.
it's good to talk...
Voted : Yes, those actions are somewhat suspicious
LMAO. Well at least they made some money and got on the news:) People are freaking out here now in my town because of how close it was. I wonder if people are gonna move away again because of this:)
Voted : Yes, those actions are somewhat suspicious
Yeah, pretty obvious. This is one of the things that Homeland Security watches for.
Voted : No, nothing out of the ordinary there
Let me guess, they were going to ring-tone the bridge with all 1,000 cellphones and make it collapse! Not likely. They were probably just selling them and doing business out of the back of a van since it's cheaper than renting a shop.

herzog ... just out of curiosity ... what *is* the point of this ballot? I think I know ... and I think I know what you will say to try to cover it up ... but I still want to hear you say it.
Voted : Yes, those actions are somewhat suspicious
Damn. Those yukkaz must be STREET! Talk about posing at the airport.
An update -- just found this clip: "The FBI said Monday it had no information to indicate that the three Texas men arrested with about 1,000 cell phones in their van had any direct connection to known terrorist groups." "Also, a prosecutor in a separate Ohio case said he can't prove a terrorism link to two men arrested after buying large numbers of cell phones and will drop terrorism charges against them." So you can all stop wetting your pants in fear -- seems as if your government acknowledges there are no terrorists under the bed ... (shines flashlight under face) ... THIS TIME!

{^Three at a time? by ClosetIguana on Aug 13, 2006 4:35pm} As I said, "I guess they were going to ring-tone the bridge with all 1,000 cellphones and make it collapse! Not likely." You fools lose credibility everytime you do the booga-booga baloney with fake terrorists and fairytales.
Cath: I never said they were terrorists. I said it was suspicious. Now, do you routinely buy thousands of cell-phones for kicks? No, nevermind, I don't want to know.
small time entrepreneurs will usually buy cellphones by the thousand if it's their business to sell cellphones - which is exactly what they were doing. Cops and those Homeland Security facists trying to pretend that they were terrorists is ridiculous.
