Voted : AOL
I actually had AOL tell me that they had no record of me in their database. This was strange because they were taking money out of my bank account every month. I had to CHANGE MY BANK ACCOUNT in order for them to stop taking money and guess what? That's right, they sent me a f*cking letter asking to know if I wanted to sign up again. AAAAARGH!!!!!

Oh, this brings back so many memories of my days in the evolution of the Modern Computer Age. So much total crap out there, so little time to slam it all. As for Norton, I must say this. It's not a bad thing, if you have money to toss after it ad infinitum and people to feed the beast 24/7/365. If you're a home user on your own, don't even pick the crap up. Had it on my last two computers, and I suspect it's why I needed to *get* the second. On this one, a year after I uninstalled Norton, I'm still finding odd traces of it.
As for Bigfoot Killer, a company i once temped for used it, and it lived up to its name. Killed the entire network.
wide, I'll go you one better. I've got a friend whose mother had AOL. SHe died six months ago, and they've still been drawing payments from her account, even after he notified them of her death. He had to hire a lawyer to fax them her death certificate before they would close the account.
