Let me ask you something, are you IN Iraq or are you getting all your information thru the Al Jazeera television network?
While there have been some really heinous things done by some of the members of the armed forces of the USA here in Iraq, the vast majority of us are doing what we can to help Iraqi's build up their infrastructure and stabilize their government. Also, those in the military who commit these atrocities are investigated and punished under the strict code of the UCMJ, which is as stringent as any set of military guidelines there are.
Your viewpoint is one of the major problems with a good portion of middle easterners: Why do you think those in the west "hate you"? We do not, in fact, the vast majority of Americans, British, etc, are busy living their lives and trying to make things better for themselves, their neighbors, etc. We are willing to live with anyone who takes responsibility for their own actions and is willing to coexist with us in peace.
It is the fallacy of the "EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET US" viewpoint that seems to perpetuate a good portion of the terrorist acts that continue to occur, and it's sad really, because thats far more about mis-education than fact. If anything, the viewpoints of the radical Islamic groups feed the fires of those who do hate Muslims more than the typical westerner hates you. That doesn't make it right, but it still doesn't mean that the majority of us 'hate' you, if anything we hope for the best for our fellow man, including you.

Well for starters, your above claim is not exactly the best way to foster good will. If you were indeed morally better than us, you would not even mention it. Know what I mean? And hate you? Far from it. Blame your political leaders, Israel's political leaders and our political leaders. People are just trying to get by and live a happy life. We do not hate you in any way. Just like we need to keep our radical fundamentalists in check, so do you guys. Its the radical elements of ALL religions and groups that grab the media's attention and totally present a bad image. Unfortunately, it seems no one is listening to you, me or any of us.

I'm sorry about speaking in general, but I ment the LEADERS themseleves, I realize 100 percent that noraml people are kind all over the world without any exceptions and I have many American friends whom I met or worked with or saw in a tourist arab country, and most of them were teachers I learned English from!!!! women who wear heavy cloths like what you said put them by thier choice, except for 2 particular countries. And Finally sorry for talking about normal citizens. Al-Jazeera is one of 100 arabic channel that we watch and we sometimes never beleive it, cuz it's a rich channel it's famouse and goese everywhere and explores what soldiers do, and you should know that what is known is less than what is done by those soldiers, and killing unweaponed people is a daily habit, and morally, I am talking about dealing and being sticky to good deeds, such as honesty and generousity being good to our parents, loyality to our neigbours, not having guns in our home for no reason, In general we don't drink or have gays or lesbians "no offence" we don't rub banks, or in the sum we don't have a high crime ratio like the west in general have, we don't we don't cheat, we host strangers in our house even if we don't know them, we don't have gangs like WHAT WE SEE IN YOUR MOVIES, AND THIS IS THE POINT, THE MEDIA IS THE REAL CANCER. SO I'm sorry for misunderstanding me and This is a big KISS for Honest westerners, and forgive about my mistakes cuz i type quickly and never revise after finishing.
