Voted : No, not really
The less powerful group can sometimes be the one that provokes and starts conflicts. So no, definitely not. I do not take a side based on which has more or less power. I base it on their actions.
This is another question that cannot be answered with the scenario given. There would be so many factors that would affect how you view/feel about/behave toward the supposed underdog. Generally yes though, most people, I believe, do tend to secretly hope that the underdog will do better than anticipated. But, in politics, that may not be the case, as much as it might be in a sports competition or even a military confrontation. We're all insecure to some degree and seeing the underdog do well makes us feel better about ourselves, as we all know that at anytime, we could be the underdog. When I watch the Olympics, I love seeing the American team come out. It makes me happy to see my fellow countrymen and I want nothing more than for them to win Gold in every event....but, sometimes when I see the team for a small underdog country come out in the opening ceremonies (and sometimes they have like 4 people total!), I want them to do well and I root for them too. Ever see the movie Cool Runnings? Thats what I mean...the Jamaican Bobsled team. Everyone wanted them to win! :)

Forgot to vote. My anser is yes, with many "buts" mixed in.
Voted : Yes
Yes, because the group that is the most powerful usually runs amok. I like an underdog who is willing to stand up to the greedy fuckers that run this country.
^Which greedy fuckers are you talking about Beelzebubba? The type who's last name ends in a berg, stein or stern?;) To the ballot guess no I don't side with a group that is less powerful,I side with the group that I believe is correct. Also I side with the group that I believe will support America's best interest.
^^ I was thinking about Enron, Exxon Mobil and Halliburton, but if you want to pull out the anti-Semite card, you're more than welcome to show where your agenda lies. My robe and hood are at the cleaners this week anyway.
I agree with patch. It really depends on the situation.
I have no agenda Beelze I was just making the funny.Sorry about jumping to unfounded conclusions.
It depends on who I believe is right, not on which group is more powerful.
