That's a beautiful picture.
Voted : Import era (1980s-present)
If your talking about street cars there is only one car worth talking about the nissan skyline...the blue and gray one at the start of to fast to fury
Wow, this is quite a question. I really cannot vote for one over the other considering they eras are so different. The Hot Rod era was amazing because everyone the cars back then were truly one company cars, your buicks, hudsons, studebakers, dodges, etc. And they weren't exactly fast but damn they probably seemed like it to those kids, just big iron machines blasting along thru the night, the white tshirts, leather jackets, blue jeans, cowboy boots. The Muscle Car era though, wow, Camaros, Chargers, Novas, Challengers, Mustangs, Boss Mustangs, GTOs, Barricudas. Those were the first real lightweight cars with monster horsepower, they were scary fast straight line and had so much potential. And so cheap too. A couple of grand dropped you into a 426 Hemi Cuda that now sells for a cool half a million mint condition. The collectors market for this era is insane and yet fun!! The Import era is not really the word I would use to describe it, I would call it more of the 'sport compact' era especially now that Dodge and Chevy are really bashing the competition (stock) with the SRT-4 Neon (recently replaced by the Caliber) and Cobalt SS. Even before there were the Cavaliar Z-24, and turbo model dodge cars of the 80's and early 90's, including the fastest 4 door sedan available in the US at its time, the Dodge Spirit R/T 1991. These cars combine pint sized powerhouse engines with cornering ability unseen before in the other eras of street racing. Each era had it's own pluses and minuses, but each was cool in it's own way.
