COMMENTS:
It has repeatedly been shown to effectively diffuse criticism. Evidently, the kitchen has been getting a might hot.
The usual political timing of the bullshit. It's practically threatening these days; like saying "We're going to do this you too if you keep up with the sceptical questions"
Voted : A desperate political ploy of some sort?

They would have been released sooner if not for the Moussaoui trial. They were used as evidence.
What possible use would they be as evidence? Do they name Moussaoui on those tapes? No, it's just more scare tactics and emotional games. If they used them at the trial then it was for playing emotional games instead of using facts. Same with their politically timed release now when an increasing number of Americans are serious in believing that high up members of their own government were directly complicit in the 9/11 attacks.
Another one of those "Remember to be a good antisemite and scapegoat semites (arabs) again, forget about Israel being BAD and killing Lebanese civilians this time"
There is never going to be a good time to release such sensitive material. Releasing it achieves nothing. The people who want to believe that the Lizard / Bildeburg / World Government / Big Oil coalition drove flying tractors into the twin towers to trigger a war leading to a world wide police state will continue to believe whatever gets them throught the night. Anyone who actually witnessed what happened or is intelligent enough to look at ALL the evidence doesnt need to see or hear about it again.
As the term goes FEAR IS THE KEY!

Families of those killed sued for the release of the records. Since they were public records and they were no longer needed for the Moussaoui trial. There isn't a conspiracy or political motivation here folks.
There's always political motivation. You'd be naive to believe otherwise.
^Yes, there are political motivations behind many things, including the avid promotion of government conspiracies.
lovelynice... try reading a regular newspaper for once instead of all the conspiracy rags.

Sickens me to think that this is even available for public scrutiny. Ghouls.
MrFiddle, I read regular newspapers everyday. I don't read any of those "Arabs did it", "WMDs in Iraq", untrustworthy ones that only report unquestioningly what the USA and UK governments say. They blew their little credibility years ago. You don't still read those things do you?
{including the avid promotion of government conspiracies. by Jinn_the_Kafir on Aug 17, 2006 11:00am} I believe it's the motives of greed and ambition which promote most government conspiracies. That's why they occur so often.
