Voted : Earnie Shavers
Yes I know Frazier, Louis or Liston aren't on here but I happen to think all these guys hit harder. Bruno wasn't a great boxer by any stretch of the imagination but he's a very overlooked puncher.

And no I didn't put him in because he's British, before USRocks accuses me of bias. He's a disgracefully underappreciated puncher.

I was just looking on the net for hardest heavyweight punchers and no one seems to mention him on the forums or anything. Bizarre.

I asked my husband, he told me to pick Shavers too :)

^All I can say is that your husband is a wise man. I did of course vote for Shavers, despite rambling about Bruno.

Really there's a ton of guys I've left off the list who could've got in the original ten.

It's going to be interesting who people add as choices and yeah, Tua was a bit of a puncher.

Voted : Jack Johnson
Jack Johnson who also happened to be the FIRST black heavey weight - kicked a lot of ass back then.

Next: George Forman, then Tyson, then Earnie Shavers

^Johnson could really bang (pardon the pun) including removing Stanley Ketchel's dentures famously.

For my money, it has to be Max Baer. He was the hardest one-punh hitter in the history of boxing. He killed one man (Frankie Campbell) and could have played a vital role in killing another. His knockout percentage does not justify how hard he hit because he did not take boxing seriously after these deaths. Todd

Many heavyweights display great knockout power, however there are several heavyweights renowned for the one punch knockout, amongst them, Foreman, Baer, Tyson, and Shavers. Others have the ability to diliver devastating salvo's and none more so than the Manassa Mauler 'Jack Dempsey' although small in stature is knockout ratio was phenominal, boxers like Tex Cobb, Tua, & Bruno all failed when competing at the top level with top opponents, Dempsey knocked out everyone in his day!!
