COMMENTS:
The Israeli military also said the raid was launched "to prevent and interfere with terror activity against Israel, especially the smuggling of arms from Iran and Syria to Hezbollah." hey I guess that makes it okay huh? If you are not going to abide by a treaty, don't agree to it. Little Hitlers that they are.

We the West work out a peace treaty inorder to prove to the rest of the world and especially the M.E that we are trying to resolve the situation peacefully.I agree with you LCD the Israelis should have never agreed to a cease fire until they got their soldiers back and severely wounded Hezbollah.
If not Israel, Hezbollah??

""to prevent and interfere with terror activity against Israel, especially the smuggling of arms from Iran and Syria to Hezbollah." hey I guess that makes it okay huh?" Doesn't Israel have a right to defend itself like any other sovereign country? What would the US do if Al-Qaeda was trying to smuggle weapons into the US? Ignore it? Or try to stop it? Really LCD, how come you only criticise Israel? Hezbollah has no intention (and NEVER had any) of disarming even though there was ALREADY an pre-existing UN resolution (1559) prior to all this demanding this. Who is the "little Hitler" there? Until Lebanese or UN forces can stop the rearming of Hezbollah, why shouldn't Israel do it? UN Resolution 1559, which called for the withdrawal of foreign forces, which Israel and Syria had done. It called specifically for the disarmament of all Lebanese and non-Lebanese militias. Well... Israel and EVEN Syria (for the most part) followed this one. NOT Hezbollah. Who are the ones who won't follow a treaty? Hmmm looks like Hezbollah. A group which also calls for the destruction of a UN member state which is a violation of the basic UN charter (much more serious than a resolution). Maybe you should look up who is violating the treaties and who isn't. I'll post the whole text of that resolution if you like.
Voted : Israel is not to be trusted
Israel is manipulating the U.S. and the world for everything they are worth. No, Israel cannot be trusted.
Neither the Israeli nor the Lebanese governments should be trusted. They should both be equally observed and questioned, but God knows that won't happen.
we should spin a globe and stop it with our finger then trust whoever we landed on :)

what if we ended up pointing at the pacific ocean lol?
Voted : We should trust Israel
Maybe Israel overreacted a little, but they have reason to be mad at Hezbollah.
Why a special forces raid and not an air strike. Doesn’t make sense unless you want to keep the raid a secret. So who's fooling who here?

Voted : We should trust Israel
And, learn from their military strategies and their security measures. Israel proves her love for and how she values her people. Some people do intensely dislike all things Jewish. But then, some people dislike all people with black skins.
Hezbollah already violated the cease-fire, the continued to fire on Israeli positions, did not disarm, refused to return prisoners, refused to move troops out of the south, etc. Why should Israel unilaterally maintain a cease-fire so heavily weighed against them that was foisted on them from abroad? You're in a fight with another guy who started it all by sucker-punching you in the back of the head, you eventually calm down and decide to settle things calmly, but while you and the onlookers are discussing a resolution this asshole goes off looking for a better weapon, do you A) sit there and wait for him to come back, or B) defend yourself?
We should, if we know what's good for us.
^^lol @ herzog. I was listening to a talk show, "christian talk show broadcasting from israel" announcer: "how is the peace accord holding" talking head1: "oh it's holding, other than a few katusha rockets being fired, the truce is holding for now ..." not even one mention of major incursion by Israel. "Hezbollah already violated the cease-fire, the continued to fire on Israeli positions, did not disarm, refused to return prisoners, refused to move troops out of the south, etc." LOL at that statement. As far as i know, there is no such condition as a part of the truce. I don't see Israel disarming either.

LCD: I think it's kind of implied in a 'cease-fire' that you have to, well cease firing. Perhaps in arabic cease-fire translates into something more like 'continue shooting rockets at jewish women and children, then run crying like little girls to the western media when they decided to put an end to it'? If so this is all a semantics problem, we need to let them know, because they obviously haven't realized this, that a truce involves at least a temporary stop to the hostilities, not a stop by one side and a continuation by the other. Do you think that's the problem, that arabic contains no comparable phrase for our 'cease-fire'?
We should absolutely NOT trust Israel. Israel doesn't care for America. They are terrorists in disguise.
I do not trust the Arab biased United Nations.
Looks like this ballot has been fiddlefaddled.
I trust no country, including my own
