Look anybody who watches the news knows that Iraq is not turning out the way the administration wanted it to.However we have already invested so many lives and dollars into that nation that we can't just pull out now.We have to stand in their until the Iraqi can stand up for themselves.
"We have to stand in their until the Iraqi can stand up for themselves." And if that day never comes, what then? Word has it that officials in the Bushie Administration are discussing the possibility of other government options in Iraq, other than democracy.
Well if that day never happens cranky then I think we should divide Iraq into three countries and pull out.We can't stay there forever and if they are going to increase the ethnic violence once we leave we might as well give each group their own nation.
^I agree with you 100 percent. We probably should have done that in the first place.
I'll let you know when I'm not totally speechless...
^LOL.
I'll agree with corrupt AND cranky. Excuse me while I go have a heart attack.

The collage is somewhat, how shall I say, 'dainty'?
U.S. and allied forces a so successful, that the terrorists have no ability to fight back and/or attack U.S. soil, therefore, they attack unguarded pipelines. Further, this directly contradicts the allegations made in a previous poll that 100,000 soldiers are guarding Iraqi oil pipelines. Because, if they were doing such duty... there would be no fuel crisis.
"U.S. and allied forces a so successful, that the terrorists have no ability to fight back and/or attack U.S. soil" What? When did the Iraqi insurgents ever try to attack the U.S. directly? Let's review: Despite Bush propaganda, the Iraqi insurgency is a homegrown resistance movement that arose in the wake of the disastrous Bush Administration unilateral, and illegal, invasion of Iraq to secure the Iraqi oil fields (primarily). The insurgency is not an international Islamic terrorist organization.
^Once again... You are so full of BS! Let's review: Despite YOUR propaganda... Currently, the "Iraqi Insurgency" is not solely a homegrown resistance movement that arose in the wake of the multi-national and legal invasion of Iraq which occurred (primarily) to enforce the "Operation Desert Storm" Cease Fire Agreement, to which Iraq accepted and subsequently violated on numerous occassions. The "insurgency" HAS morphed into a haven for any/all Fundamentalist Islamic terrorists. Further, the evidence is clear that prior to the invasion, Iraq was providing aid & comfort to known terrorist groups (i.e., Al Qaeda, Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Alaxa Martyrs, et al). Saddam Hussein allowed himself to be filmed writing $25,000 checks to the families of terrorists which carried out terrorist attacks. Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi was wounded by U.S. forces in Afghanistan... and went to Iraq for treatment and safety... where he subsequently ran the Al Qaeda network in Iraq. So much for your assertion that the "Iraqi Insurgency" being "home grown!"
