COMMENTS:
I know a lot of people have operated them but it's not usual to operate a mill or lathe.

Is that Mill as in sawmill? I would imagine that to be a dangerous machine, a lathe too for that matter.

Voted : Combine/harvester
I helped harvest hay a couple of times. Not really unusualy, but something that not many get to do.

I worked for a time in the oil patched. We used these large tracked deisel powered vehicles called "Nodwells", I think after the guy that invented them. They operated just like a tank, steering with levers. They were good in any terrain, even through muskeg swamps. A lot of fun.

Just a5t it sounds. It's a platform, about seven meters long, on wheels that elevates to a height to about sixty meters. Whenever I drove it, people wanted to jump on and take a ride. I stopped doing it when they started heaving all over it.
