Voted : Only when Republicans want to suck up to that demographic
Are those chicks wearing panties?
When my family has any sort of celebration they display both the US Flag and the Spanish flag. I don't have a problem with that, nor would I if a flag from any other nation was displayed.

cranky the difference between what those Cuban girls are doing and what the Mexicans were doing is that the Mexicans were protesting against America and using the Mexican flag to do so.One is celebrating heritage and the other is using the flag of another nation to bash America and support an illegal activity.
Consistency hates Freedom. There will always be a reason why it is OK for 'Our Team' to do something, but not for 'The Other Team' to do the same thing.
Voted : it depends, it's only ok if it's being waved by cute chicks
The Cubans are generally either legal immigrants or citizens. The Mexican protests were generally for and about illegal immigration.
They were two different issues.
What Corrupt said.
Voted : Anytime. People should wave whatever flag they choose

People living in the US have a right to oppose it so long as their opposition does nothing to harm others. It's one of the best things about it. While the Mexican flags waved at recent rallies were waved, in essence, against America, as long as they don't run anyone through with a flagpole (or start riots with said flagpole), I'm okay with it.
"The Cubans are generally either legal immigrants or citizens." And that's only because when a Cuban arrives in the U.S., they are automatically granted the right to stay here. Mexicans don't get that privilege. That's pure politics. So, it would be okay for Mexicans who are here legally, or are citizens, to wave the Mexican flag at rallies? "The Mexican protests were generally for and about illegal immigration." So, you believe there should be some sort of limit on free speech when people are protesting about immigration? "the Mexicans were protesting against America and using the Mexican flag to do so." No, they weren't. They were protesting against American law, and the way in which they are enticed to come here to be a cheap labor pool by American Republicans and business people, just to have those same people howl about the outrage of other people's Mexicans being here illegally. "One is celebrating heritage" You really think those Mexicans weren't making a positive statement of pride and celebration about their heritage when they were waving the Mexican flag?
cranky at those rallies the Mexican flag became a standard for all illegals to rally under,it had nothing to do with Mexican pride and everything to do with protesting American policy. Also nobody enticed the illegals to come over on there own accord.Using your logic if I leave my car door open I'm enticing car jackers to steal it.
The Mexican government does more to encourage illegal entry than the US govenment does. And by government, I'm not talking about political parties or businesses. I've yet to see a pamphlet printed up by the US government telling how to cross over safely and the best places to do so.
