I like watching Antiques Roadshow on PBS, but one thing I've noticed is NO MINORITIES COME TO THE SHOW!

No matter what city the show goes to, rarely is there ever a minority person in attendance. It's just white person after white person.

It's just like America's Funniest Videos. There were rarely ever any videos from minorities.

Why are miniorities so UNINVOLVED in American life. They're always complaining about being excluded, but the truth seems to be they just don't bother to participate.

But that doesn't stop them from crying racism.

I don't watch that show.

It is a good point if true. I kind of agree with Cathexis' criticism of your logic though.

There are probably many reasons that we could come up with, such as:

minorities have been traditionally denied the right to own property and have been denied the access that whites have.

To some extent that is probably true.

Because the aforementioned minorities are oftentimes, *using* those antiques they have as working furniture-slash-possessions.
