If they are in fact guilty then yes, that was a horrific crime and deserves a severe punishment.
There will be a trial. Evidence will be produced and a verdict/punishment will be rendered.

Lava, I just hope that the trial doesn't end up a farce, overweighted by the need to "protect the Coalition."
I hope so, too, Truthseeker013. And, time will tell. Just as some jumped to conclusions as to Mr. Karr, we must remain impartial until evidence comes out. I am neutral at this point. That said, if it happened as we read, it is so bad and great punishment must be meted out.
Interesting how most people responded 'yes'. I've got a feeling that if this were about saddam being executed for his crimes people would chime in that they oppose the death penalty, it's barbaric, we shouldn't lower ourselves to his level, it won't bring anyone back, etc etc. I wonder why they didn't russ such a fuss here?
