Hezbollah was hanging in there, and had fought Israel to a standstill.

Israel refused to even consider a cease fire when it was gleefully destroying Lebanon and thought it would destroy Hezbollah. When Hezbollah held up, and the people of Israel started becoming demoralized, then Israel (and its puppet, the U.S.) called for a cease fire. The U.N. didn't stop Israel from doing anything. Far from it. The U.N. bailed Israel out.

Hezbollah was taking heavier losses, but was actually increasing the number of rocket attacks on Israel, and forcing Israel to take greater risks in the ground invasion. Israel had NO HOPE of destroying hezbollah.

I think the U.N. has an anti-USA bias due to a variety of things like our unilateral attack on Iraq after they refused to take action, and our unpaid U.N. dues, and the fact that we truly do not respect them in the way they think we should. It is also a fact that a large number of nations dislikes the United States out of envy and fear. These nations have a disproportionate influence in the U.N. In my view, the U.N. is a great chat room, but I wouldn't date anyone from there.
Steel, tom, I've had to stop allowing choices because I am currently being stalked by several trolls who put entries that have nothing to do with the ballot question.
But the choices cover all possibilities. The outcome of the war in lebanon was orchestrated by the UN and it most definitely benefits the terrorists. The only question is if this was intentional or not.

The U.S. and Israel orchestrated the war, from the start up until the point they realized they couldn't win. Then they dropped it in the lap of the U.N. And it remains to be seen who will benefit the most from the U.S. and Israel doing a cut-and-run.

Not against fellow maintainers who created aliases to promote themselves ahead of where they should be. Believe me, if I could I would ban these choices.

I've never rated down a rational comment no matter how much I disliked it. I do remove ones (when I can) that have nothing to do with anything on the ballot.
Look at all my recent ballots where I did allow choices for examples on how the privledge is abused by a few on this site to the detriment of everyone else.
I wasn't accusing you of doing so, it was a generally point, towards hose who would be tempted
