COMMENTS:
And BTW, legitimate courses of action excludes resolutions to the effect of "the genocide in sudan is bad I guess, but really what the jews are doing to the palestinians is worse, we hate the jews, death to Israel, allah akbar!!!!"
Voted : Nope, can't find any, the US didn't stop the UN from acting in those cases
Well, in the case of Iran and Lebanon the have most certainly not stopped the UN from acting. See, economic interests of Russia and China in Sudan trump genocide. They also trump stopping a radical regime from developing nuclear weapons. The blame lays squarely at the feet of Russia and China. The UN also acted on Lebanon. In fact, it is the US and Britain who have pushed most forcefully for action.

Looks like it's up to George Clooney to stop the genocide now...
"Some users are making this claim, that we can't criticize the UN for failing to act because the US stops them from doing so." ??? I haven't heard anyone suggest that. "Well I think I've kept pretty up to date on the big issues that the UN is criticized for." That's what they call an obsession. They do have medications for that. This ballot is an bizarre exercise in pure neocon fantasy. (herzie ballot category: "UN Bashing" cross referenced with "Obtuse Personal Attack on Other B&W Users) Nothing new here, folks.
