Voted : most unbiased news outlet out there
Used to be one of the sanctuaries of actual news, although it seems that even there, Rightwing 'opinion pieces' have been creeping in.

That being said, it is still where my radio is set.

There is no such thing as an unbiased news source. The news is put together by humans. Each human brings their own set of experiences and views with them when they report a story. Any reporter on the NPR staff will likely report a story somewhat differently than another. I can't say they are the most unbiased. I'm not saying it is too liberal or too conservative. It is just that there is no counterpoint available.

There are some websites that intentionally have liberals write stories and conservatives write them too. The biases are then obvious. The truth is somewhere in the middle. Those sites to me are more unbiased because of the fact that the biases are obvious - not hidden.

As close to unbiased as you can get.

NPR is the polar opposite of the fascistic Fox News, which is simply the propaganda organ of the Republican Party.

I love NPR programming. NPR News is original and querky. Of course it's biased and that's an important part of it's charm.

I've never caught them leaning. But I also can't get the local affiliate where I live. Lost in the signal noise. :-(
