We look so alike, it doesn't exactly take a mental leap to see it.
I understand though why this is hard for many people to accept, our minds are still evolving, but not seeing ourselves as part of the Earth is only going to kill us.

I definitely agree with the intent of the ballot. We are evolved from 'lesser' primates, who evolved from ,,,.
Mankind is very very old. Science proves this in many different ways. Only a bumptious moron could disagree.

It's obvious. Look at any rap video. 
Evolution is the best guess at this point. There are, however, other possibilities, including interspecies evolution (which is primitive versions of man evolving into more complex and sophisticated versions), and something called horizontal evolution, where rather than evolving upward, various species exchanged DNA which caused all species involved to acquire some of the DNA of the others. We simply do not have enough evidence in any version to make an empirical statement that evolution occurred in precisely one manner or another. However, as I said, the vertical model of evolution is the best current model of the science. So, I am going with agreement here, but with reservations and openness to future developments.

Apes should be insulted at this. Humanity, IMO, is a step *back* in evolution.
