COMMENTS:
I saw a documentary on this; the theory was, that the government didn't want people to know; I know, sounds like a conspriciy theory, and I don't know for sure, but I'm really into anything having to do with extraterrestial life. As theory has it, life had existed on Mars, but either they died out, or they left.

That bright spot just left of center could be the Suns reflection.
An interesting find. Looks a bit crude to be 'intelligently made' (although, so does the Chrysler PT Cruiser ) ... my first suspicion is that it is some kind of natural (for Mars) geological phenomena. But I'd sure like additional exploration to verify or refute!
It's JFK's colon--watch your back Fiddle, you're getting a bit too close to the truth.
I think its a tunnel that the life forms on Mars (Martians for lack of a better word) used to travel between their underground cities. I think this proves life on Mars and maybe the governments of the world are trying to keep in under wraps for some reason.
Voted : Just an odd sand dune formation
Future inhabitants of the Earth will find evidence of intelligent life on Mars and the Moon. They may be curious about those relics that have strange rectangular markings with 50 stars and 13 stripes.
Voted : May be a natural formation of some kind; reserve judgment until more facts obtained
But it is very cool find
Voted : Some type of extra-terrestrial beings built this
It's what I'm hoping, anyway.

But, it is still exciting to think about. Do you know if it was naturally 'opened' (climactic action or other) or what?
I'm going to withhold my enthusiasm for the moment, but it does look intriguing and certainly merits further investigation.
Hmmm,vewy vewy intewresting.
300,000 years ago it was an underground tunnel from one shopping mall to another so customers wouldn't have to deal with street traffic.
But seriously, there's so much we don't know and I wish the government would open up a bit and fill us in on UFOs, etc.

I'd like to believe it's something more interesting but it could so easily be from wind or some kind of moving fluid, i think both those things happen on Mars. Not to say there isn't (more) intelligent life out there somewhere but there are billions of other galaxies for them to live in (I mean for God to create them in his image in! ;) so the odds aren't that great that it's Life.. but who knows?

www ebtx. com/ mars/ marstube . htm ^ This page was interesting to read. According to it's creator, giant Martian leeches travel the tubes. There's even a photo of these massives leeches further down the page. I have no idea what they are.
