But then, I'm distantly related to a guy named Murphy...
This ballot was created before and I asked "how are the Republicans reducing the world's oil prices?". Like most conspiracy theories if you draw out what they are proposing it doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense.
Perhaps the large oil dealers would rather see a Republican controlled administration that give them tax cuts/breaks in the midst of record profits but know that to lower them and ease the squeeze on the average voter may influence how some individuals might vote, I used the word link, not conspiracy.
You've got to think of the world not just what happens in the U.S.
OPEC, my good friend, controls the majority of the world's oil prices. I guess you could say that they are being controled by the Republian party but then you could say anything wihout any proof (as you have already).
Outside from that it comes down to supply and demand (which OPEC can affect)
Like the recent link twixt 9/11 & Georgy's lil hop in the polls, perhaps? :)

Of course there's a link. There's also a reason that we haven't been "attacked" by the "axis of evil" again since 9/11!
Perhaps the reason we did not go into Saudi Arabia where most of the 9-11 crew hails is due to the "mighty" OPEC...perhaps 9-11 could have been prevented if situations which should have raised the "alertness of those who were responsible at the time of the occurrence were doing their job (P
paying attention ! If anyone thinks something of this nature can't happen again they must be on mind altering drugs or just plain stupid.
A few disgruntled idiot terrorists don't add up to an "axis of evil" (North Korea, Iran, and Iraq)
"There's also a reason that we haven't been "attacked" by the "axis of evil" again since 9/11" I see because the Bush Admin were teh ones responsible
"Perhaps the reason we did not go into Saudi Arabia where most of the 9-11 crew hails is due to the "mighty" OPEC." So if Al Queda recruited 15 French, Indonesien or German terrorists that should be the country the US should attack? Nice logic skills.
^Don't go after the terrorists, that's crazy, attack the country they were born in.
Seems like your oily friends could crack down on dissidents...in their territory..ditto for the other places you mentioned... while you succeeded in getting me off subject you must think its a stroke of genius to go into Iraq on faulty/fabricated info...
^You were the one that brought up 9/11. No I don't believe going into Iraq was a good idea. That wasn't what this ballot was about now was it? Seems as though you're trying to change the subject again.
Whoa, whoa, whoa buddy, JYL and FREON Brought it up... I was just trying to see if anyone thought maybe there's more to the falling prices than meets the eye... the wealthy can create illusions of things being better than they really are...if you go back to the ballot you will see I made no mention of 9-11 until it had been interjected into the comment section... plus I ddn't say it was your fault
OK it wasn't you but it wasn't me either.
re: "you succeeded in getting me off subject"
Yeah, made a ballot about this ballot #101741 Gas prices have dropped! Is this a conspiracy to help the GOP? It is a shame people don't understand basic economics.
Voted : Yes, there's a link
Of course there is. It's the oil companies helping to remove the issue from elections. It's negative issue for Republicans which is who their trying to help. After all, it's the Republicans who made it possible for the oil companies to rob us.
