As I understand Wicca, it makes more sense than some of the more virulent strains of religion. They love nature, believe in homeopathic medicine, and like to dance and sing in moonlight. Oh, they also like to make potions and spells that shrink men's testicles. lol

Its a harmless religion that worships nature. Wicca focuses on White Witchcraft and has no links to the devil or other dark forces.
Its just a spill over from paganism.

It is about the same things as other religions.
More of Nature, though. They don't handle snakes or make rug tacos out of 'bad' children, though. Huge air-conditioned beautiful buildings are not required, either.

I've got a feeling most are in it just to be different, or shock everyone else they talk to. It's a pretty silly reason to start or follow a religion, but they seem mostly harmless.
It's kind of like kids that are way to in to dungeons and dragons, they're a little weird, and maybe even creepy, but they don't hurt anyone so there's no reason for animosity.

as religions go, it's one of the friendlier ones, teaching respect for nature as well as each other. One of its basic precepts is "As you harm none, do as you will". Can't say I have any argument with THAT. But i think some adherents take themselves a little too seriously, which makes it seem a bit silly to me. I'm all for dancing in the moonlight though, especially naked!

I know a few who practice Wicca... They seem like harmless fortune tellers... I've never researched Wicca or talked much to them about it. I went to ones wedding, we all went bare foot, carried flowers and sat on the lawn. They seem very granola, flower child, at one with the earth type of people... or should I say women. Is this a female thing? I just realized I only know Wicca women.
