I swear to you my house got at least three ghosts. I be hearing them late at night and I be so scared. I almost died one time.
Things happened with me too, but I explain it away by saying it's my imagination.

Well, I *think* I saw one once, but I was sicker than a dog, so it's debatable, even to me.

I didn't really believe in them because I hadn't seen or experienced any until I moved to a TownHouse about 5 years ago.
I kept seeing like a dark shadow of a woman going up the stairs. One half of a step near the top remained Ice cold, be it winter or summer. I would be sitting at the computer on my office chair and would feel a tug on the back of my shirt. My bird houses sitting on the side of each step would occasionally go flying across the room. Lots more creepy stuff. I finally asked my next door neighbor if a woman had died in my home and he said no, but a transvestite had committed suicide by hanging himself on or near the stairs.
I asked others for advice on what to do and it was suggested that I put up crosses in every room. So I did and it worked, but I still moved out not long afterwards, it was just too creepy living there. I've had no problems since then!
^If you put up statues of Buddha on the stairs do you think it would have worked? (I'm being serious).

I agree with what margaret123 said except for the fact that I have experienced a rather odd instance: namely an unexepcted "light" while I was camping in my backyard during some stargazing. It was in the peach trees, and it wasn't caused by anything I can explain.
I can't say if this was a "ghost" or not, but it was a little unnerving to say the least.
i smelled one's perfume once - she had been violently murdered in the hours years before i stayed there. I woke in the morning feeling someone in the room and could smell perfume. I wasn't wearing any, nor did anyone else in the house have any. Ghost?? i dunno - gave me the heebie-jeebies though.
I honestly don't know, but maybe you could try both Buddha and crosses just for the sake of trying to get rid of any ghosts?

No, I don't. But I would like to see what people claim to be ghosts. I don't believe in people's supposed souls roaming the earth causing trouble,wanting revenge, or just being in the physical world.
