Now you've got me wondering about my realtionship with my dad. We don't talk much anymore.

Sometimes you have to remember who failed who... it wasn't you... okay? Put the guilt away.. do what you have to do now and then go on with your life. It sounds cold but it's the only way and the only reason I know is that I've recently been there..

I'm so sorry for your loss... Maybe I don't know you, but you have a heavy burden on your shoulders and you need all the support you can get...
I've lost both my parents and the only advice I gan give you is: don't forget. learn to live side by side with your grief and eventually it will pass away... Maybe not completely, but...
