What does it take to become a maintainer of this site?

Possibly longevity plus a balanced view to see both sides of the argument.

I have certain views that many disagree with, but I never let it influence my role as a maintainer.

Probably because you are well known to both LCD and others as ramaDUNG, and using aliases, especially ones that are insulting to other people, are NOT the way to become a maintainer. If you acted more mature, you might end up getting more respect.

Now that you mention it, I dont know why you arent. You seem to tow the liberal party line in most debates after all, which would have nominated you as a maintainer in Lcd's view I would have imagined. Perhaps you havent praised his selfless running of the site often or openly enough?

Debating other users is NOT stalking - I don't see you aiming the same insult at those users who frequent my ballots or respond to my posts.
