To anyone who votes no: if the terrorists attacked us because they hate our freedom then aren’t we helping them win by giving up our freedom in order to protect ourselves from them?

Bin Laden was a patsy, who had nothing to do with the attacks, it was a 100% inside job, reat assured about that.
You will probably not know this because of US sponsored media censorship but Osama Bin Laden has from the very day of the 9/11 denied any involvement in the attacks, his denials stand to this day, in an interview shortly after the massacre he had this to say -
'I am not involved in the 11 September attacks in the United States. As a Muslim, I try my best to avoid telling a lie. I had no knowledge of these attacks, nor do I consider the killing of innocent women, children and other humans as an appreciable act. Islam strictly forbids causing harm to innocent women, children and other people. Such a practice is forbidden even in the course of a battle. there are intelligence agencies in the U.S., which require billions of dollars worth of funds from the Congress and the government every year. This was not a big problem till the existence of the former Soviet Union but after that the budget of these agencies has been in danger. They needed an enemy. So, they first started propaganda against Usama and Taleban and then this incident happened.
You see, the Bush Administration approved a budget of 40 billion dollars. Where will this huge amount go? It will be provided to the same agencies, which need huge funds and want to exert their importance. Now they will spend the money for their expansion and for increasing their importance. I will give you an example. Drug smugglers from all over the world are in contact with the U.S. secret agencies. These agencies do not want to eradicate narcotics cultivation and trafficking because their importance will be diminished. The people in the U.S. Drug Enforcement Department are encouraging drug trade so that they could show performance and get millions of dollars worth of budget. General Noriega was made a drug baron by the CIA and, in need, he was made a scapegoat. What is this? Is it not that there exists a government within the government in the United Sates? That secret government must be asked as to who carried out the attacks.'
Ossama himself knew it was an inside job by ' government within a government' - aka PNAC, as he stated in the latter part of that statement.
So, Ken let's get your position straight.
We can trust a known terrorist, organizer of terror attacks and an avowed enemy of the US but we can't trust the many scientists, specialists, forensic experts, investigators, demolitions experts or anyone else who disagrees with you?
At least we know where your loyalties lay.

The cabal of war fanatics advising the White House back then secretly planned a “transformation” of defence policy years ago, calling for war against Iraq and huge increases in military spending, a “catalysing event — like a new Pearl Harbor”—was seen as necessary to bring this about, they were ignored as nut jobs by the Clinton administration
Almost unbelievably, this same cabal of war fanatics then somehow managed to get themselves into key positions of power in the Bush government to plan and carry out this new Pearl Harbor massacre that they had so prayed for, not content on waiting for it to happen, they went ahead and did it themselves! All the evidence is overwhelming and undeniable, their propaganda version of events does not stand up to even the most superficial and cursory examination when compared with the evidence -FACT!

If you are referring to the paper “Rebuilding America’s Defenses: Strategies, Forces and Resources for a New Century,” (You know, the one cited by all the conspiracy theorists) have YOU actually read it?
You realize that there is absolutely NO CONNECTION AT ALL between that publication and 9-11. None.
Read it.
Bush was inept, at best, in his conceptualization and actions in his War on Terror (tm). He has caused the couyntry far greater harm than if he did absolutely nothing.
