We're the Great Melting Pot, aren't we? And Mona would *not* go blonde after a week. It would be *pink with black streaking*.

Its a flavour of yohurt isnt it?
When I think of American culture a primarily think of modern music and cinema. Obviously there's alot more to it than that, and i suppose it depends on your definition of culture, or mass culture.
sometimes imagined, sometimes selfish, sometimes indifferent, but more so than most cultures - the American culture portrays the notion that one person's ideas and desires count, that it is not required that they be submerged and swallowed into the overall culture. Naturally there can be a few problems with this, but to me, individuals attempting to co-exist is what typifies the American culture
...as it was told to me from an Englishman, although I would say it is seriously devoid of culture....but I do understand it would be hard to define
american culture is a vast combination of pretty much every culture on the planet. that is the beauty of having the most open and accepting culture in the world. yes they are not fair to gays in some respects but overall you cannot find another country who has more different types of people working in a more diverse manner than in the united states, i'm swahili and even i have to admit this!
America has EVOLVING culure unlike most other countries. We focus more on the future where other countries focus more on the past. American culture is always changing. There is no way to catagorize it.
