AOL, Yahoo and Others, I know the persons sending and receiving can save on their computer, but do the IM Service’s also save and if they do, is that right, isn’t that like phone companies eavesdropping and recording your phone conversations?

What about Rep. Mark Foley, where did they get those IM messages?

I'm in high school and one day I picked up a convo. of two girls talking about this. They said that their parents actually went through the state to see what they were writing. When I heard this it really made me wonder if it's true, but it has to be. They were grounded, and they wouldn't have been otherwise.

I disagree with this whole-heartedly. This is one of our basic fundamental rights, and I was shocked to find that a smiple parent could see everything their child wrote. It's exactly like eavesdropping on someone. Not only a minor, but anyone can be recorded. Whadufxup?
