Just asking, no political motives on my part, but countries do things that are in their best interest, seems as though that would have been in best interest of US to tell the world, "See I told you so"

Hmmm, good question
because he is pure and innocent like angels and woud never do such a thing
Because they would've been blown by the IAEA, and the International Community
They actually thought they would already be there

It does seem odd that they'd sneak tons of explosives in to the world trade center, detonate them in front of cameras going out to millions of people, fake 4 plane crashes, and do all this under the watchful gaze of 7 million skeptical new yorkers all to justify going to war. But they couldn't sneak a few tubs of mustard gas or anthrax in to disorganized war zone with few cameras and no one to question them. Odd . . .

I think those dysfunctional dumbass neocons, through the power of groupthink, arrogance, and stupidity, may have conned themselves into believing their own lies, and actually thought they would find WMDs.

In this case, perhaps their lack of criminality is proof of their gullibility.

I wonder, after the U.S. invades Iran, will they find evidence of nuclear weapons technology? Or will the neocons have learned their lessons and thought to have some shipped in during the invasion?

For the neocons, it may be: "First time wrong, shame on reality, second time wrong, shame on Bush."

You'd thin that such would happen, after the first few months of searching yielded nothing. Hey, maybe they're right after all, that the War *is* justified...

Whew. That's a powerful new med I'm taking. I had this dream, that I- oh. Never mind...

Maybe they did, but the Bush aministration is so damn ass stupid they forget where they planted them
by TomSmith on Mon Oct 02, 06 8:45pm [+]

Remember what happened with the forged Niger Documents that the Bush Administration tried to pass off as real proof about WMDs in Iraq? The IAEA only took a mere FOUR HOURS, to discover and prove that the Niger Documents were TOTAL FAKES.

Do you really think that the IAEA couldn't quickly discover that any planted WMD evidence was also FAKE? Of course they'd KNOW. They'd find out within a few hours most likely, and there's NO WAY that the Bush Administration would get away with it.

This is SO OBVIOUS! rolleyes

Good question. Have to admit, I believed this would happen, given teh Bush Administration's passing acquaintence with ethics.
by Cathexis on Tue Oct 03, 06 6:51am [+]

They seem to be really good at selling their arguments and coining slogans but in execution I don't think they would have been able to pull it off...
