In this soundbyte world, the geniuses at Madison Avenue are just super at getting you to buy their products, be they deodorant or politicians. Bush and his mob spent over 300 of their own money to buy these advertising firms, and that doesn't count the untold millions spent by unregulated "private" fundraisers. So, I don't think you are dumb to have voted for Bush the first time, but that second vote might make you fairly stupid. Americans are not known for their political discernment.

A decision is only as good as the information it is based on. The GOP has learned to control/ influence that information at any cost. Including Truth.
