Watch your sin tax.
It always makes me laugh when Americans moan about how "high" their taxes are, me being from England. Having said that Im willing to pay for a national health service, if not quite so willing to pay for social welfare benefits.

The 16th amendment and the creation of the Federal Reserve in 1913 was the beginning of the downfall of this great nation.

As I understand the reasoning behind this fee, its proceeds are to be used to extend telephone service lines into areas where there is no service. I can't tell you how many places I've been where there was no phone service of any kind, including cellular.

Workers are being triple taxed. For example: If you make $1000 per paycheck. You pay Federal on the $1000, then State on the $1000, then FICA on the $1000. You are being triple taxed. You should pay Federal on the $1000, then pay State on the $1000 minus the amount paid to Federal, then pay FICA on the $1000 minus the amount paid to Federal and State. The reason for this is that once you paid Federal taxes on the $1000 you no longer have the $1000. You have $1000 minus whatever you paid in Federal (lets say $200). So why should you pay taxes on $1000 when you only have $800 left after paying Federal taxes?
Every paycheck I get the government takes 23%, that includes employment insurance, Canada pension plan, and the rest I don't even want to think about.
