What's that road along an Interstate highway?

Depending on where you live will probably determine the word you use to describe the road that runs along an Interstate highway.

Access road
Feeder road
Frontage road
Service road

Voted : Access road
Well, I cna pick three of these.

Along I-75, the road alongside is *called* Frontage Road, from the Atlanta city line until the northernmost border of Cobb County. Along I-85, the road is called Access Road along one portion and Service Road along another. Hey, it's Jawja. We're lucky they ave the common sense to name the roads at *all*, or that more than fifty-seven of them *aren't* named Peachtree or some variant thereof.

Has anyone heard anything more about a Sherman descendant?

Voted : Service road
I've heard "service road" and "access road" before, but probably "service road" the most often around these parts (southeast Michigan)

Voted : Frontage road
We call it "frontage road" here where I live in the sunny Southwest.
