COMMENTS:
genocide happens because xenophobes among us build walls to keep people imprisoned. color it any way you like, but that's the reality.

Voted : Probably wouldn't work
If nothing changes, nothing changes. It may sound harsh, but victims continue being victims until they decide not to be victimized. Sometimes you have to stand your ground. It makes you a stronger person. And there are some things you just can't walk away from; because they'll hunt you down.
^Of course, that doesn't mean you shouldn't seek resources to level the playing field.
Voted : It ignores the problem and creates new ones
it's good to see you caring. (that's what this is right?.. or just a jab at someone else?)

ira_lee_pistimov they've been driven out of their villiages, they're starving, what do you suggest that these victims do?

Uhm sure ira_lee. Just change your mind when a gun is at your head. Could the Jews have just stopped the Holocaust because if they had just decided to not be victimized. Oh boy. We have all seen many times when people decide to just pack up and move somewhere else en masse. They are not wanted, they are persecuted, etc. Just walking away is one of the more asinine comments that I have seen made on this site. Countries ignoring the genocide when they can do something to stop it is immoral.
"The notion" as interpreted by you.

aya and fiddlefaddleonlsd, my second comment sums up what I was trying to say. Nobody wants to fight. And, yes, if you have a gun to your head, you're likely going to die. It's then that you hope you've lived your life in such a way that other people will take up your cause. I will repeat: ^Of course, that doesn't mean you (ie, victims) shouldn't seek resources to level the playing field.
