I donot know.
But, I believe that if you have a strong and real faith, you should not let a few careless comments from others cause doubt.
What I believe in gives me such Great Strength and I am determined to keep that.
How can something that doesn't exist, and never existed, be dead? Or alive? Or anything?
I still believe Black_ Lava, I just question some things more.
well my comment is this - if death is the end of the physical existance of a spiritual being - how can a being that is entirely a spirit to begin with - die?

Just noticed the pic, I have that edition buried at homme here somewhere, bought a load of old editions at a market a few years ago and that eye-catching edition was among them, from the mid 70's if I remember correctly.

What about the Christian faith are you questioning larrynelmira? No, it is not possible that God can die. God by definition is eternal and everlasting. God is outside death and its affects. There is nothing that can cause God to die. He doesn't get old and brittle, he doesn't get murdered, or commits suicide, He is all powerful. By definition: Can an everlasting all powerful spirit that has no physical body, cease from living and be deprived of life. Ofcourse not. :0)

To me God could only be always alive or never have existed. I lean towards always being alive. but the new American movement is to Athism, so in our culture he has died.
God created the Universe and you may think he is dead but he may just be acting now(past few hundred years) as a passive observer.
Then again reliegion may just be all made up to satisfy our desire for immortal life, if not in this one perhaps the next.
Religion is a hard subject.
