Voted : to cover their own weaknesses
Good question. Maybe it's because of fears and a need to explain them. If there is a conspiracy or some other theory for why a fear exits, fear often leads to hate. It's even possible to hate hatred, or be intolerant of intolerance.
^exists, not exits
most of the time, you cannot connect reason and hate. very few people direct their hate where reasontells them to.
Some people get so much energy from hating. They thrive on it. And it's alot easier to hate than to understand. Understanding takes more work and effort.
hatred is an excellent fuel, a real driving force that can be used to power reason. all emotions are. reason guides, passion powers. emotion in the sails, logic at the helm.
^ What a tit, lol, I don't hate honestly ;oP

Voted : to cover their own weaknesses
I agree with Grumpy
It's a powerful emotion, hate. People kill because of it.

That's one of the reasons I think people hate
i think it's an unresolvable mixture of fear and envy that never registers as either and so develops into hatred
Most people hate out of fear or lack of understanding.
Apparently we're *supposed* to hate. It's funny because when I am just angry I tend to exacerbate my problem but when I am extremely angry(read hatefull)I actually see SO MUCH more clearly that I'm able to make strides and actually acomplish something. It all depends on how you employ it just like the road to hell is paved with good intentions(and it IS) ... it's all in *how* you use it.
Note: this word "hate" is becoming so cliche,no?
Voted : don't know
