Umm... I might not be anywhere close to liking him, but no, I don't think so.

What the guy above said.
I should state that more strongly. NO NO NO NO. And I won't be surprised to see the yes votes win. That shows the skewed perceptions and bias of users on this site and the absolute failure of the education system in respect to teaching history.
Bush would like to be a dictator, and he and his neocon buddies are certainly working on it.

We do not have dictators in a Democracy. That does not mean that he wouldn't like to be one, though.
Not a dictator, although signing statements and the Patriot Act and support for human rights violations should be closely monitored.
No. The "yes" vote will almost certainly win, but that simply reflects the level of bitterness to which most of the left has sunk lately. Like it or not (I'm guessing not for most) bush was elected fairly in both elections. He won the electoral vote in 2000 in an extremely close race that when you account for the margin of error was pretty much evenly split, but he still won. And he handily won the electoral and popular vote in 2004. Dictators are not elected, do not have term limits, and are not impeded by other branches of the government.

If he were a dictator, a lot of the people in this post would be surfing the dirt at the bottom of their Gitmo cells.

No. To call him a dictator is an insult to those who have to live under dicatorship rule every day. We're so spoled that we've been blinded by it and don't know how lucky we've really got it.
Of course not. He's a puppet elected as a figurehead of a totalitarian system.

No. George W. Bush is our President, whether you or I agree with his policies or not. Next time, VOTE!

"Like it or not (I'm guessing not for most) bush was elected fairly in both elections." Well, technically Gore got more votes so.... But still, he's not a dictator. I'm still banking on a north korean strike for him to declare Martial Law.
he's certainly some kind of 'tater.
^ Hmmm. A 'Dick' tater??
