IS DETAINING 100,000 DURING WWII THE SAME AS DETAINING 4 MILLION NOW?

During World War II, President Roosevelt okayed an order detaining approximately 100,000 people of Japanese descent living on the West Coast for the duration of the War.

Would the situation be the same if George Bush rounded up all 4 million Muslims in the U.S. and put them into detention facilities indefinitely, saying it needed to be done for the so-called "War on Terror?"

Yes, the two situations are identical
No, there is a significant difference in these two situations

World War 2 was an actual war. The War on Terror is... a concept- a struggle perhaps, but not a 'war'.

In any case, I oppose the idea of detnetion of both circumstances.
