I guess when you see a few good-looking men shaven bald, they get the idea that it'll look cool on them, too. For myself, I do it because all that hair is too damn hot sitting atop my head. And my brain's a step short of overload as is. I need to keep the old brainpan as cool as possible.
Some people should realize that whether this is a good idea depends a lot on the shape of your skull. Some people look fine that way, others don't.
Because it looks ten times better than having long, thin, receding hair. It's also low maintenance.
Black men have been shaving their heads for years. Alot of Black athletes began doing it and it caught on with white guys to the point where it became fashionable.

That is bicked, not shaved, shaved on like a 2 or 3 is cool looking and nice looking, but bicked like that just looks skinheadish and i don't care for that.
My husband does look good with a shaved head, unlike the lop in the pic. But my hubby doesn't bic it, just shaves it and even leaves his sideburns which are truly hot, and he shaves it with clippers because when he grows his hair out it would look funny as he has lots of calloks

most do it because they are going bald so they try to "own it". They figure that if a woman likes them with a shaved head then baldness won't be an issue - which is probably true.

Yep. Black guys have the pigment to still look like fully formed human beings without hair. White guys who shave their heads look like a genetic experiment gone horribly awry.

Because unlike white men who do the comb-over to convince themselves they still have hair, black men have more confidence. They know being bald doesn't make them less of a man.

I saw a classic tv show rerun that showed a bald white detective..Kojak. He was bald too.
