I don't know which came first, Ramamdan or the Olympics. If I did, I might award one seniority over the other. Until I do, leave all as is.

I am so sick of all these religious fanatics, muslims AND christians alike. they should do us the favor of going and worshipping in some caves in afganistan and leaving us alone for a change.

No. Many muslims seem to believe that the entire world revolves around them and that we should adjust our lives accordingly. I'm sure many also demand that we don't allow female athletes, or jews on the field. They can make such demands, and we are free to ignore them.

Sure! Lets make sure it doesn't conflict with Easter, Christmas, Epiphany, Advent, All Saints Day, any and all Catholic Feast days, Pentecost, Maundy Thursday, Lent, Palm Sunday, Trinity Sunday, All Souls Day, Passover, Hanukkah, Yom Kipur, Solstice, Veteran's day, Guy Fawkes Day, New Year's Eve, New Years Day, Super Bowl Sunday, Halloween, Labor Day and any and all other holidays secular or religious practiced by any person. For crying out LOUD! Why do Muslims demand that everyone make sacrifices for them? Isn't it an insult to Muslims that many seem not to expect that Muslims follow the same rules as everyone else. Christians often won't engage in sports on Christmas or Easter, nor will many Jews on Yom Kippur. What is more important?

I wonder if they'd be willing to schedule their next terrorist attack to avoid christian holidays, like christmas and easter?
Where I work, there used to be this Jewish guy who got pissed off whenever anyone would schedule a meeting on one of several Jewish holidays, whether he was going to be attending the meeting or not. He was also the Christmas fascist, who immediately protested if someone referred to the "Holiday Season" as the "Christmas Season," or put up religious decorations, or sent out e-mails or flyers with Christian religious graphics. The world can't be ruled by that kind of authoritarian jerk, or nothing will ever be scheduled or accomplished.
But we should also remember that necons don't fight in wars on Christmas or Easter. Of course, they don't fight on any other day of the year, either, so maybe that's not the point.

Send them a nice holiday ham. They'll be fine.

im no racist but no. we're a christian country, im not but thats fact. muslims do not have to fast for exceptional circumstances. i think representing their countries is a certain exception.
I find it interesting that cranky can never answer the question at hand and instead has to continually use every ballot as an opportunity to bash anything remotely christian or conservative.
And, just so you know, you ignoramus, the vast majority of service members are conservatives. Maybe instead of focusing on one sector of conservatives who may or may not be fighting in a war, why not focus on an entire segment of our population, liberals, who are said to represent at most 20% of our armed forces.
