I've seen the Atlantic Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico and the Great Lakes, but I've yet to see the Pacific Ocean. So which is the best Island getaway in the U.S.?

I'd have to say I thing its any island in Hawaii. Key West is also amazing. I'm going to go with Hawaii

There's no question that the Hawaiian islands are the best, not only in the United States, but in the whole world. Hawaii has it all.

There is a 60 mile stretch of Padre Island that is designated for 4-wheel drive vehicles only. The sand can be knee deep and if you slow down in the wrong spot you're gonna get stuck. You have to keep a minimum speed of 25-40mph, depending on driving conditions, and watch out for things washed up on the beach like trees and other debris. The driving can be quite intense at times, so this is when I listen to "Wish you were here" by Pink Floyd. Intense music to go with the intense driving. Totally awesome! cool

South Padre is beautiful. Clean beaches, gorgeous waters, tropical climate, and very friendly people.
