WHY IS THE USA STILL IN IRAQ AFTER 4 YEARS?

[+] ballot by blackcat06
created Sat Oct 28, 06

What is ther REAL reason why the neo-cons and war
loving GOP and senators want to keep the US military
PERMANENTLY OCCUPYING a foreign country that had no
weapons of mass destruction... a country that did
not pose any immediate threat to westerners in 2001?

Look what Americans and British have done in Iraq:

Go take a look at the photos from Iraq:

(Remove spaces above)

So the question is:

WHY IS THE USA STILL IN IRAQ AFTER 4 YEARS?

Why is staying there worth the lives of over
2,800 dead US soldiers and over 655,000 dead Iraqi
civilians, and HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS OF DOLLARS IN
DEBTS that is burying the USA into a deeper hole
of bankruptcy and unpayable debts that cannot be
paid back in even a single generation? ie. the
US foreign debt is currently > $8,200,000,000,000
(over 8.2 trillion), with a trade deficit of about
$1,000,000,000,000 (about 1 trillion) annually,
more imports than exports.

Bush & war profiteers want to control Iraqi oil
The US wants to control that region for military advantage
Bush is serving Israeli interests, to rid the middle-east of Muslims
War profiteers want to keep earning big profits from arms sales & ongoing wars
Bush & Cheney made an innocent mistake in believing false intel about WMDs
Bush & Cheney didn't like Sadam selling Iraqi oil & defying the will of Israelis
War is good for banker profits because more interest needs to be paid on war debts
Because ALL ARABS & MUSLIMS who oppose the will of the US are terrorists!
Because ALL ARABS & MUSLIMS must be terrorists, according to FOX NEWS!
Because Bush has sand in his cunt.
Because of the Chimp and the IDIOTS who voted for him
Because Bush isnt a Frenchman
Why, was there a time limit? Since when did conflicts have deadlines?
Why, was there a time limit? Since when did conflicts have deadlines??
Masochistic tendencies
WHY IS YOUR CAPS LOCK BUTTON ON?
Halliburton.
Nation-building
The radical muslims won't give up until the USA all become muslims.
We're looking for Osama Bin Laden and trying to build up the area.

Because the stupid, violent chimp refused to heed its daddy's warning that toppling saddam would plunge the area into power vacuum?

I thought it had more to do with poor planning than oil or Israel.

Yeah but you should know that importing more than exporting is not always a bad thing. apply simple economics to it and you can figure it out. I'll give you a head start. Most countries don't make their money off of exports alone. You make it off imports. You have taxes on imports. if your citizens can afford to buy the merchandise and do buy them you become indispensible to the world market. The more goods that come in the more hard currency you make.

If you have a $13 tril economy and you have exports of $1 tril, the basic economic models should tell you something. Just one point. I've read a few of your posts. I don't think you really grasp the economy of the USa at all. Do you really understand economimcs?
by TomSmith on Sat Oct 28, 06 7:58am [+]

I also dont think you know what the supposed debt is. Its spending more than budgeted. It doesn't mean the money isn't there to spend, it just means that each fiscal year the government establishes a budget. I think its about $2.5 trillion. They spend more than that every year because things like Katrina come up. They don't borrow the money to finance what they spend over the budget, they take money from other sources and spend it to cover the budget shortfalls. Do you know the difference? Its the same as you taking money you were going to spend on an iPod and instead using it to buy a new tv. You just took it from one account and used it elsewhere.

Trust me on this issue I know what I'm talking about. message me if you want to learn how the world economy is structured and find out that almost every country has massive debt. Its not unplanned.

As to why were still in IRaq it has nothing to do with oil and nothing to do with our economy. I noted you mentioned that in another ballot. Thats really way off track.
by TomSmith on Sat Oct 28, 06 8:05am [+]

So it's all funds that should have been spent on education, health, pensions, etc.?

That'll make people feel better.

by Antiseptic on Sat Oct 28, 06 8:21am [+]

I didnt say I liked it or agreed with it, did I? nope. Simply pointed out a fact that any institutional trader or any economist that is not biased will tell you. I think it sucks. its why both parties need to stick to a balanced budget. They don't because of special interests. Research pork barrel spending

Voted : War profiteers want to keep earning big profits from arms sales & ongoing wars
(As soon as I heard of this war I told everyone I knew, online and in real life, that we'd be there for years, probably more like a decade.
Now I don't usually go crazy with Told-You-So's, But as amazed as people act that we're still at war there- it makes me want to slap someone's fat stupid face.)

More simply, the government in place now isnt entirely willing to submit to the whims of the Bush Admin, despite all the cash that's been poured into the region.

Why kind of question is this!! Its a war my man its not going be a couple hours than both nations give up. As long as the terrorist keep coming in and putting up a fight the Americans are going to keep coming in and putting up a fight. Also almost every nation has a debt.

Obviously this is a rant. I can't believe people still don't want revenge for what Bin Laden did to us on September 11, 2001. I'm not proud of America anymore.
