Voted : Don't know
It's an emotional reaction I don't relate to.
People should marry whomever they wish. That's not to say that people opting to maintain ethnic cohesion should be villified.Myself I have no problem with F/E Jews, white nationalists, black nationalists,... attempting to maintain their ethnic cohesion and it riddles me that so many people care so much about them excercising their prerogatives.I think it's perfectly natural. There are white supremacists,Jewish supremacists, black and idealogical suremacists ... Their irrationality poses a threat to everybody.
I have dated as many non-white girls as I have white, which is natural considering the ethnic mix of my area, and I have even loved a couple. As for having children, I would have children with the person I loved, regardless of skin colour. However, It is clear that when white and black people have children, they invariably look almost nothing like the white parent. When you see mixed race kids with their (normally) white mother, can you honestly say you could have guessed they were related through physical appearance alone? I would like my kids to look at least a little like me ideally, but it wouldnt stop me If I loved someone.
Don't interracial couples have the most beautiful kids? The only problem I have wiht everyone intermixing, is, (and this is silly), if EVERYBODY intermixes, what will happen to red hair? I love red hair on guys and it looks great on women.

thing about these racists are that they are missing out on 66% of people who they can get busy with. on the other hand, do you ever notice those who are racists are the ones you wouldn't want to go to bed with them in the first place? :)

Bull. What business is it of theirs 'what other peoples' kids do or do not have to go through? Do they demonstrate such 'care' for other aspects of child suffering? They merely perceive this as a more socially acceptable means of expressing disproval for a personal bias.
Voted : They are covering up for their own biases
When you meet new people, after a few minutes, you see that they are just people. Some have blue eyes, some have brown.
My practice marriage was a 'mixed marriage'. I'm a human being and he is a jackal! But seriously, to answer your question....it really depends on the person saying it. If it is a person who has had no experience with interracial relationships, they may be concerned because its uncharted territory to them. Consider what would go through the mind of someone who hadn't experienced it, but sees all the hate crimes in the U.S. shown on the news. I bet it would leave them scared to death for their loved one in the relationship....especially if the person concerned is a senior citizen. I went throught that with my dad the 1st time he was aware of me dating outside my race.
