The nearly 2,000 sex offenders under supervision of parole officers in New York are subject to special restrictions on October 31.

They must stay in their homes starting at 3 p.m. or immediately after they get out of work until 6 a.m. And they aren't allowed to open the door to trick-or-treaters.

In Elmira some officials wanted to expand this to include all sex offenders.

Do you think this is a good idea and should it be expanded to include all sex crimes dealing with children?
