Sex is an important component of intimacy, IMO, and the loss of it would be a very significant/ serious event.
However, IMO, once the commitment is made, I go with "... in sickness and in health."
Also, imaginitive people would find alternatives. Defining sex solely as 'intercourse' is either short- sighted or a convenient dodge for adolescents/ government officials.

I think if there were no premarital sex and the man said he could perform but in fact couldn't , that would be grounds for divorce, but if it happened during the marriage, "In sickness and in health" should apply.
