Source of quote: The Washington Post
I believe the cognitive dissonance of suppporting the Bush Administration will continue to grow for many Republicans -- especially those who believe in traditional Republican principles, actual Conservatism, or American values. Right now, the only thing keeping Bush going is the inertia of too many people who have been conditioned to believe "No matter how bad Republican officials continue to be, the alternatives are, by definition, always worse." Wake up, folks. You're being used to help crooks, who aren't qualified to lead, line their own pockets.

From the begining, virtually everything was sloganized and politicized...tt's like taking you new beemer to be repaired by a jack leg...meaning well and being capable of doing well are on the opposite ends of the scale...
