There is no end to the answer I feel.
Ireland was the Catholic's faith's Fort Knox until we discovered that the priests that we so revered and respected were actually just peadophile perverts who were masquerading as men of God, what a perfect ruse to gain access to children and have their trust - and way with them, stealing their innocence.
Our government forked out 90% of the 120 million euros compensation to victims of priestophile* abuse, all of it taxpayers money.

No. There's alot of churches out there who actually spend more money and effort on helping their community and the people in it than on themselves.
But they only get mentioned on slow news days. And they're not as fun to talk about and bash.
