DO YOU WATCH RELIGIOUS PROGRAMMING ON A REGULAR BASIS ?

[+] ballot by thesoothsayer

Do you watch "televangelists" on a routine basis ? I ask because I used to but after they began (quite a few of them) extolling how Great and religious George Bush was, not to mention the send money angle, I just don't watch any more...sometimes I surf through the church channels but never settle on any one show...

Yes, I watch regularly
I watch occasionally
I watch every "blue moon"
No,I Never watch
I send money
Their hair scares me!

I watch them on occasion if I happen to be in front of the TV on Sunday morning. But I'm usually just listening while I read or work.

Although there is one that I do enjoy watching. He's actually more of a teacher than a preacher though, and will teach from Hebrew manuscripts and point out mistranslations in comparison to the King James version. Some of what he teaches, you will never hear in a Sunday morning church service. And when it comes time for his little prayer at the end of the hour, the first thing out of his mouth is "if you have a need or if you want a prayer said for you, put down your phone and put your money away because God doesn't need it."

Though quite a few probably are, not all are all criminals.

Well...does watching to hurl decidedly *non*- Christian epithets count?

These tv preachers are something of a nuisance and an irritation and an embarrassment..
But I might enjoy a
Unitarian channel with other intelligent programming..!
