HOMELAND SECURITY: ARE WE SAFE YET ?

[+] joke ballot by thesoothsayer
ACTIVE Tue Nov 07, 06 - Wed Nov 07, 07

Now that we may build a 700 mile fence, all our phones are bugged, our library visits and what we borrow is documented, our grandmothers are strip searched at the air ports, we can't lock our luggage, our internet searches are archived, we can possibly be whisked away to unknown locations and be held indefinitely and waterboarded until we provide discriminating info, we don't know if our votes are really being counted,we may or may not be able to buy a cup of coffee or water and take it on the airplane, we are overrun with people that snuck into the Country while we were busy spreading Democracy because we couldn't fine WMD's, running for public office might get you "swift boated", V.I.P.s that mismanage wars get medals and assurances of keeping their jobs, we are spending now, defering the payments, we have so many scandals it's hard to keep track without a scorecard, and nuclear technology is spreading...and being pursued by non-allied Countries...so are we safe yet ???

Yes, were are safer than before
No, we are not safe as before

Safe?

BWAH HA HA HA!!!

We will never be 'safe,' as long as there are GOP policiticians who need to gain/ consolidate/ maintain power.

(And realistically - no. The few efforts we have taken to date have been more for show than for utility.)

Cats are generally democrats, so that one must be a security risk. Perhaps it posted something critical of Bush on an internet blog.
