Sad, clueless, small lifeforms. I was just over in Yahoo, checking one of my groups, and I got an e-mail from a friend, a story in which the Republicans are now blaming the "aggressive, divisive tactics of the Democrats" for their downfall. (The quote may not be exact, owing to the fallibility of memory. I forwarded it to Cathexis, so he might be better able to comment on its veracity.) Still, it's fairly telling. If anyone wants to read it for themselves, just PM me with your e-mail addy, and I'll be happy to forward it to you.
As far as I'm concerned it was their arrogance. They thought they new better than everybody else. They ignored the advice of many many people with years of experience, and recklessly decided to go against history, with their hidden agenda.
